The College is an approved center for Sanskrit of the M.G University from1993 onwards by UO number AC-AII-I-1424/93 dated 17/9/1993. Dr. G Ganadharan Nair, Dr. K. S Meenambal, Dr. T. Aryadevi, Dr. Sukumaran Nair, Dr. K T Madhavan, Dr. C T Francis were the prominent research guides in earlier periode. Atresent there are six Research guides in the center. Twenty five PhD thesises were awrded the degree till the date. Now there are thirty three research scholars are doing research work.
