Nyaya
Department of Nyaya started as part of Sastrbhushana course in 1914. Renowned scholars of that age in Nyaya sastra, Manthitta Kunchu Nambudiri, K. Achyuta Poduval were the pioneers of the department. Manthitta was the author of Nacaratnmalika – valuable text in Nyayasastra. In 1963, B. A. course and in 1969 M.A course were started.. Former Principal H. Gopalakrishna Iyer, Prof. Panavalli Radhakrishnan and Prof. R. Sarojam are among the leading scholars in the department in recent time. At present Dr. K.C Suseela, is the head of the department.
